happenings.

Thursday I had the afternoon off and I headed off on a wonderful bike Ride. I headed down gange road to Glen Huntley and then down Glen Huntley until i got the Jewish Holocaust museum (about 30 minutes), it was very interesting and also very depressing. I then biked another 15 minutes down to the water front and fallowed a lovely bike path along the bay to St-Kilda where i cut accross and headed up Calisle... at this point i was slightly lost because i had no idea if this street came out on the princes hwy. but i hoped for the best and ended up making it home without to much trouble, on the way i stopped a the st-kilda botanical gardens. The gardens had a lovely rose garden, and there was a giant chess board where old men were playing, surrounded by tables where other old men were playing while having a beer. the park was buzzing with ppl relaxing in the park. Another highlight, Leslie and I made panang yummmm.!

Friday we went to the casino which was gorgeous and fun intself, bonus we both came back without having lost any money.

Saturday: Mainly, it was HOT, so hot and the sun was shinning. Anyway we took the tram to the Royal botanical gardens, making a stop at the war memorial. The gardens were beautiful and gigantic (theres australian gardens, chinese, cactus and so much more, we will have to return to explore more when everything is in bloom.). We then made our way to Fed. square because there was suppose to be Diwali celebrations, we had to wait a while though and refueled on tons of water, we later saw a dance and musical performance (this was after baring through a clown act... and a laughing group act (ho ho hahaha). For dinner some canadians from calgary we met at the botanical gardens when i was there with the kids came over for dindin, mmmm we stuffed our faces again.
Sunday: Ventured to Edithvale (south east along the bay) for Leslies friends god brothers bbq... yes we had never met them and they were quite a bit older but it was still tons of fun. Leslie and I picked up some wine and headed over for some great food and nice chats with ppl from the u.s, hong kong, malaysia, singapore, and a few australians. all in all a good time was had. Returned home for some sex and the city the movie and delicious lava cake.
